2i2c stands for the International Interactive Computing Collaboration. We are a non-profit, fiscally-sponsored project of Code for Science and Society, a US 501(c)(3) public charity. This page is a summary of our team structure, see our team compass for more information.

Roles we have in open source projects #

We hold a number of leadership and maintainer roles across the open source projects we build upon. Here are a few key ones:

• JupyterHub team - tools for orchestrating and managing multi-user interactive computing environments for research and education
• Jupyter Book team - tools for building and sharing interactive, publication-quality scientific documents
• Jupyter Executive Council - overall governance and strategic direction of Project Jupyter
• Jupyter Distinguished Contributors - recognized for exceptional and sustained impact on the Jupyter community
